Jeremy Rata

Born in 1959 my interest in photography was sparked in the 70's by my Uncle who is a professional Canon dealer (York Cameras of London) and an amazing photographer. Every year when I was small he would give me something to do with photography and to this day he still does!

My main areas of interest are sports (see also swpix.com) and portrait photography.

I shoot sport on digital 35mm using Nikon's D3s and Canon's 5d Mk11 using L series lenses. For portraiture and other work I shoot on Medium Format using Hasselblads H3DII and 503CW with both film and a digital Phase One back and occasionally I use a Rolleiflex TLR and a Leica M7 & M8.2.

I currently live in South Devon and will occasionally travel for specific photographic assignments.
